This Data Privacy Policy (“Policy”) will help you understand how, ILAHiring Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (collectively, “Company” or “we” or “us” or “our” or “ILAHiring”), use and protect the data, a user, employee, third party service providers, individuals ("Users" or "you" or “your”) provides to us when you visit and use www.ilaforplacements.com (“Website”) or any software that we provide to you for access in your electronic devices, any use of our online platform, our Intelligent Liaising Assistant (“ILA”), our materials, proprietary content, tools, software, (collectively, these are called the “Services”) and/or whose Personal Information is being processed for undertaking the business activities.

ILA for Placements is the India’s FIRST AI-based CV Assistance and job hunt Platform. The platform caters to all aspirants that wish to make high-quality, sophisticated, and aesthetic CVs / resumes and solves other placement related issues

Our mission is to provide solutions and services in “placements” and "HR" in all its forms and perspectives and to undertake all such activities as are connected, linked or associated with thereto.

By using the Service(s) and/or being associated with our Company, you agree to the collection, storage, use, processing, and transfer of your information in accordance with this Policy. The information shared by you is divided into two categories- “Personal Information” (PI) and “Sensitive Personal Information” (SPI) as defined hereinafter.

We are committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information of its Users, third party service providers and ensuring that any Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information supplied by/ collected on behalf of its Users or otherwise generated by its business activities is collected and processed fairly and lawfully.

Except where specifically provided otherwise, the reference to “Personal Information” will include “Usage Data” (UD) and “Personal Data” ( PD ) as defined hereinafter.

Personal Data

We are an AI-powered CV assistance and job hunt platform. While using our Service(s), we may ask you to provide us with a certain PD that can be used to contact or identify you. PD refers to information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked to you. This includes but is not limited to:

email address,

first name and last name,

phone number,

Education details

Work experience

any other information that you submit.

Usage Data

The following types of Usage Data are collected automatically when you use the Service(s). It includes but is not limited to:

your device’s IP address,

type of device,

device’s unique ID/ IMEI (if the device is a mobile),

details of pages of our Service(s) that you visit,

time and date of your visit,

location from which the Service(s) is accessed,

information collected from cookies,

data profile regarding your activity on our Website(s),

information collected by third parties,

and other diagnostic data.

SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may also collect SPI, which is a specific set of “special categories” that must be treated with extra security, relating to your:

password(s),

financial information such as details about bank accounts, credit cards, debit cards, and other payment instruments.

We shall never use your Sensitive Personal Information to the third party except where you have given your consent. Your SPI shall be treated with utmost security.

To ensure smooth and uninterrupted use of our Service(s), including monitoring the usage of our Service(s) and understanding User expectations

To manage your registration as a User of the Service(s). The Personal Information you provide can give you access to different functionalities of the Service(s) that are available to you as a registered User

To contact you by email, telephone calls, SMS, or other equivalent forms of electronic communication, such as a mobile application’s push notifications regarding updates or informative communications related to the functionalities, products, or contracted services, including the security updates, when necessary or reasonable for their implementation

To provide news, notifications regarding special offers, and general information about other goods, services, and events that we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about unless you have opted not to receive such information

To attend and manage your requests to us

To use the information about you (such as your published content, professional details and the like) to connect you with appropriate brands, professionals and recruiters which are associated with us.

For other purposes such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns, internal auditing, and evaluating and improving our Service(s) and services offered by our associates, products, ancillary services, marketing, and your experience

Disclosure of your Personal Information

Except as provided herein, the Company will not publish or disclose your Personal Information without your prior consent. We may disclose or share your Personal Information in the following situations:

we may share your PI with third party service providers and business partners to monitor and analyse the use of our Service(s), for payment processing, and to contact you.

Retention of your Personal Information

We will retain your Personal Information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Your Personal Information is processed at the Company’s operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. It means that this information may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction. Your consent to this Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

We always bind our team members and third party service providers to the high standard of protection of Personal Information and allow its processing only for authorized purposes.

Access to your Personal Information

You will have the right, upon request, to access and review the Personal Information provided by you and held by the Company. Upon discovering that the Personal Information provided is inaccurate or deficient in any manner, you will have the right to request suitable changes or amendments to such information, which may be provided by the Company, when feasible

Deletion of your Personal Information

You have the right to request the deletion of your Personal Information and withdraw consent for further collection of your Personal Information, subject to certain exceptions. We may deny your deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us to:

In the event you delete or withdraw your consent for the collection of any Personal Information, we may not be able to provide our Service(s) to you.

Security of your Personal Information

We are committed to securing your PI and keeping it confidential by implementing reasonable security practices and standards. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your PI, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. The Company ensures the confidentiality and security of the PI provided by you by implementing comprehensive information security practices and standards as mandated by the SPDI Rules, 2011.

Additionally, we cannot be held liable for anything that happens as a result of malicious software, virus, etc. that might affect your computer and is interfering with the Company by showing corrupt data that you might click on and as an effect put your information at risk. We strongly advise you to protect your device with antivirus and do a monthly check-up of your device.

Links to other Software/Websites/Services

Our Website(s) contains links that lead to other websites. If you click on these links, we shall not be responsible for your data and privacy protection. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the privacy policies or practices of any third-party websites, software, or services. These websites are not governed by the terms of this Policy. Make sure you read the privacy policy of the concerned website.

We reserve the right to change this Policy at any given time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page. Changes to this Policy are effective on the date they are posted on this page.
